CONSTANCE LATIMORE DAWKINS

Latimore Letters Publishing is an independent publisher specializing in children’s books, journaling, blogging, and consulting for writers. Constance Latimore Dawkins is the author of Before I Knew You, I Loved you children’s book. She is an African American author.
Hello, I'm Constance!

Writing a children's book was not part of my vision. It was an
assignment from God, and I am the vessel. As a small town girl from Soperton, GA, it never occurred to me that I could be an author. But, here we are.
 

After graduating from Treutlen High School, I chose to further my
education at Georgia Southern University with a BS in Justice Studies. I worked 4 years as a counselor in correctional institutions. Then, I began my 20+ years career in insurance.
 

I am passionate about family, philanthropy, criminal justice reform and a host

of other social issues. I love music and international travel. My favorite destination is the East African country of Tanzania. I currently reside in Orange Park, FL.
